| Finally after a "long time no see", FinDoDL came back to solve the battle between the good and the suck, and of course we're participating in it. In the first group, clans have been divided in to groups of 3 to 4 and we are playing in the same group with ViiRy, Tilt and Karvalakit. Taking a fast peek on our group, it seems to be the most even and none of the games are going to be easy. Our goal in the first group is to achieve 3 wins and being first in our group. We're also planning on winning the whole league, so lets see how things start rolling for us. In the first group our team is pursuing a solid and relaxed gameplay, which will hopefully get us far. ;) | |

| ... while we're closing the Chapter of ED Summercup 07, One of the biggest Events in DoD:s history are taking place again; Clanbase OpenCup Fall & EuroCup XVI, 2007. EC is still long way ahead of us ... maybe next year ;), but speaking of OC; this time I was happily suprised, that they put us into the Premier League, "Group B" ... where you can find familiar names such as; dtekt, w4sp, SweetDeath and The Last Resort. | The party was held in the cold Finnish weekend @ 19. - 21.10, 2007 ... in the outskirts of Helsinki. Personally for me, it was an exciting xperience, to finally meet the ppl behind the wierd "nicks" 'n stuff. On the other hand, I was pretty disappointed of the lack of motivation, which was dominating the Finnish DoD:s culture ... NOT to take part in "BYOC" LAN partys. Nowadays every1 likes more to just "drop in 'n play" style, than the original meaning of the LAN parties ... like showing off your 'rig' and having some inside competitions of Overclocking 'n stuff. | ... so, we won the Group-stage and now its time to move on, to the Playoffs [Alpha]. Our first opponent in Quarter Finals was United Warriors of Europe, who placed 2nd in the 2nd Group. Match was played in dod_coire_rc3 & 2x15 ... it was pretty deacent, and they gave us some challenge, but still we manage to beat 'em up 9 to 0. Then we moved to the Semi-Finals, against Scotlands Finest Highlanders, who managed to beat The Xiled Ones in Quarter Finals ... well, i dont know about you, but the match was pretty 'overkill', schooling them 16 to 0 in dod_lennon_rc3 ... but still, it was GG. :) , lastly but not least; there was a tight match between tiLt and Finnish Brandenburg, our Finnish brethren clans ... still, tiLt managed to won it by a single fullcap, 4 to 3 being the final score of the match ... so we will meet tiLt, in the Grand Finals. It has come to this; the Finals was between Us and tiLt ... so what happened? We managed to beat them in Anzio, 9 to 0 without mercy ... nice & clean. | Here we go again! Enemydown's Summercup 2007 started last sunday, 23rd September. The competition will consist of 16 clans split into 4 groups of 4 teams. Group stage takes 3 weeks, matches are played on the Sunday. The group stages maplist looks good for us: Week 1 ][ dod_argentan Week 2 ][ dod_donner Week 3 ][ dod_salerno To me its nice to see 3 Finnish teams on the same cup & I wish to see both teams on the playoff's, hopefully against us on the final ;). Groups are "randomly" selected, what is funny, 'cause in our Group all the teams are in ED's ladders TOP-4. That's good for me, 'cause I dont like overrun teams ... I rather like to play close 'n' tight matches. Read more... |

| UPDATE: Since they decided to move us and GaB - fresh n'tight to the playoffs, we had our next match against one of the Germany's "TOP-3" clans, incredible.Shake ... match was taking place in Anzio, and we had some trouble to get the "war triumph" @ the allies round, so Shake pretty much assraped us, scoring 10 caps in a row. When playing Axis, the score was otherwise pretty deacent ... losing to Shake by 1 cap. But still, it was good game, and it was a little "wake-up" call for us, to practise little more in the future. | Gimbo, our haxxor, has made a trainmap. The map is called dod_twi_aim and it is at it's best whenever you need to train your aim or just warm yourself up. Here's some Gimbos thoughts about the map ... "It all started when I played dod_czar_aim (map made by me for DoD 1.3) with few fellows from N.Static/cZar times. I thought that I could translate that map to DoD:Source, but it wouldn't work as well in Source that it did in 1.3. So I decided to do something useful ... where you could practise your aim & warm up before match or just have fun." "The layout for the map came from CS 1.6 map called aim_map, which is quite known map by everyone in CS scene. I just made some changes and built the map from beginning to the form it is now.
